Good Warrior Invites You To GIVE 'N' GOBBLE 2014!

You are invited to join Good Warrior in any (and all!) of the events we are participating in this month.

Children of ALL ages are welcome. Feel free to share this with your friends.

Sign up for one or more events--and don't forget to spread the word by sharing your registration on your favorite social media sites!

1. REGISTER for the Marin Turkey Trot through the unique link listed below and on the GW Facebook page.

The race takes place on Thursday, November 27, which is Thanksgiving morning. Your registration fee will help raise money

for the SF Marin Food Bank, plus GW will earn cash back in referral fees, which we will donate directly back to the Food Bank.

A fun way for the whole family to participate and give back!

If you choose not to run in the Turkey Trot, your donations are still welcome:

2. VOLUNTEER with the SF Marin Food Bank on Saturday, November 22nd. Enthusiastic volunteers are needed

to inspire and encourage Safeway shoppers to purchase bags of groceries which will go directly to people in need.

2-hour volunteer shifts will take place from 10am-4pm at Safeway in the Red Hill Shopping Center in San Anselmo.

Good Warrior will provide fun gear, volunteers can make decorations, and

you will receive a surprise treat when you arrive for your shift!

3. BAKE Pumpkin Pies for Homeward Bound, a short-term emergency shelter in San Rafael, on Saturday, November 22nd.

This is a GREAT chance for younger children to help and is part of the Points of Light Family Volunteer Day.

Teams of 5 or more will bake 20 pies each (don't worry, the recipe is simple and the crust is ready made).

Baking will take place at the shelter site in San Rafael. What a fun and easy way for your children to take part

in a meaningful gesture for families in need!
